About Gwen

My name is Gwen Alexander and

I love learning about and presenting Titanic history.

Gwen Alexander is a speaker who brings Titanic history to life for the audience. As a child, she watched television specials featuring the stories of survivors and the explanation of what happened that night by historians. This led her to doing her own research on Titanic history.

Gwen is also a pianist. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. She has used her skills as a pianist to create a program of music which would have been heard on the Titanic. She also studies the history of fashion and social etiquette from different time periods.

Gwen has many interests. Some of those interests are studying languages, podcasting, learning the ham radio, baking, spending time at her local library and relaxing.

Titanic Programs by Gwen

There is so much information about The RMS Titanic. Where do you start? Gwen has created four informative programs which cover the conception of the Olympic Class Ships, the lives of the musicians and the events after the sinking. A Story for the Ages highlights the designers of the Titanic, the path of the iceberg and what happened to the lifeboats after the sinking.

Gwen has new programs she is creating. Programs can be made to fit the theme of an event.
